Mr Trump is on his way back to the USA. His state visit to Chinese head of state Xi was accompanied by many business leaders from the USA, including Elon Musk. In the end, there were some nice pictures from the meeting of the most powerful men. Both sides spoke out in favour of reopening the Strait of Hormuz to shipping traffic. However, things look different when it comes to the island of Taiwan. Xi warned that the status of the island, which in China's opinion belongs to China, must be handled with care. However, the USA did not mention this issue in its statements on the visit. Trump's reactions after the meeting were also otherwise rather reserved. We are used to something different from him.

Manuel Neuer and the World Cup in the USA are still a hot topic in the German media. It is well known that he has officially retired from the national team, but experts keep saying that he should still play this tournament. As you know, he's hanging on for another year with Bayern. Whether he would be doing himself a favour by doing the same with the national team is uncertain. However, he is rumoured to be in Nagelsmann's provisional 55-man squad. It will be interesting to see how things develop. It's nice that there are also games in Mexico and Canada and not just in the country that has degenerated into an unjust USA under Trump.
