It’s Friday again, and the weekend is upon us once more. Whilst we can spend our time thinking about what to get up to at the weekend, the people of Ukraine are suffering under the attacks of the dictator and former KGB officer, Putin. He continues to ruthlessly bomb everything the people there need to live, from homes to power stations, schools, nurseries and even hospitals. And Mr Trump – he’s still a secret fan of Putin. He probably wants to share Ukraine with Russia, but it’s just a pity that his campaign against Iran – which he wanted to have wrapped up in a few days – is still smouldering. It makes you wonder how the US, as a world power, can stand up to Russia and China when it really matters. 

Slimming injections and a curious side effect: naturally, these so-called slimming injections have various side effects, but it is now being reported in the media that the Dutch brewery Heineken is allegedly warning its customers in the UK that the injections could lead to a drop in drinks sales. Now that’s what I call a side effect.
