Greenland has voted and voted out the previous government. The 40,000 Greenlanders entitled to vote were called to the polls and they decided in favour of a change in policy. They want to boost the economy in order to become even more independent, as Greenland is still dependent on Denmark despite its independence. All parties rejected US President Trump's claim to Greenland.

It has been learnt from Australia that they do not simply want to respond to Trump's tariffs with counter-tariffs, but want to take a different path. During Trump's first term in office, an agreement was negotiated in which both sides waived tariffs. Australia wants to build on this, as they have a trade deficit with the USA anyway.

And then, in the middle of the week, the statement from Bayern Munich's sporting director Eberl after the Champions League win against Bayer Leverkusen: "Now we're back". The Leverkusen players were of course visibly disappointed and will now have to lick their wounds.
