So, is it finally going to feel like summer again in Germany? It certainly doesn’t look like it in the Lower Rhine region at the moment – there’s a light drizzle and a measly 14 °C right now. It could certainly be better.

Donald has done it again; he’s claiming once more that an agreement with Iran is just around the corner. Naturally, he portrays the US as the power that has fully achieved its objectives, and himself – Donald, of course – as the best and greatest US President of all time.

Who would have thought it! At least oil prices are falling, and hopefully fuel prices at the petrol stations will follow suit.

Our Environment Minister seems to be quite pleased with the new electric car subsidy. Apparently, 50,000 households have already applied for it.

Well, all we can do for the German economy is hope that the funding actually goes to German – or at least European – manufacturers, and doesn’t end up supporting dictatorships and despotic states such as China or the US. Under Trump, at least, the latter certainly feels that way.
