Autumn seems 

to have arrived on the Lower Rhine. Well, the calendar says it's autumn, but a few more days of sunshine would be nice. 

Many people in Germany are currently attending the motor show. German manufacturers are trying to hold their own against the competition while Chinese manufacturers continue to push into the market. 

Russia and Belarus jointly launched a major manoeuvre on the border with Poland, which is being eyed with suspicion by its neighbours, as Russia's invasion of Ukraine was also partly launched from a manoeuvre. 

In the US, Trump is using the assassination of his right-wing supporter Kirk to attack his political opponents. He speaks of radical leftists, but probably means the members of the Democratic Party and is thus driving forward the division of the nation, according to the motto "what I say is right and no other opinion will be accepted". 

We wish you a pleasant weekend before the new working week starts again on Monday.
