A really big one

of German show business will probably be saying goodbye to the show stage. Thomas Gottschalk made it public that he is suffering from a very rare, but also very dangerous type of cancer. He is currently only able to live with painkillers and has already undergone two operations. However, he still wants to say goodbye to the show stage on TV on 6 December 2025. We wish him all the best.

According to the German Federal Employment Agency, the German labour market is moving sideways. On 28 November, we read that the labour market in Germany was stagnating and demand for new workers remained subdued with a current unemployment rate of 6.1 %.

The current boom engine is certainly still the defence industry. Employees from the struggling industries could be absorbed there.
