And again  

A month is coming to an end. While it has now been announced in Rome that the date for the papal election has been set, it is to begin on 7 May 2025 with a known open end, which certainly still leaves room for some speculation, we can learn from Spain and Portugal that there has been a major power outage there. According to media reports, almost the entire Iberian peninsula has been affected. 

We can learn from Moscow that the Kremlin has announced a ceasefire to commemorate World War II, Putin wants to be celebrated and has no interest in Ukrainian drones disrupting this. We will see what we can make of this in the end, as the ceasefire negotiated over Easter was also frequently broken, especially by Russia. 

We are excited to see what the new government will look like; a few names have already been leaked but have yet to be confirmed. There will be many important issues for the new government bench, including pension regulations and the new subsidisation of e-mobility. It remains exciting. 

We remain optimistic and wish you a good start to the new working week.
