Yesterday was a big day at the UN. There were many well-known speakers, including French President Macron, who lamented the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza and accused Israel of attacking Palestinians in the West Bank. Donald Trump also gave a speech in which he portrayed himself as the best and called on members to turn their backs on the International Criminal Court. We think he simply wants to take this on and get paid for it.

Our Foreign Minister, Johann Wadephul, has already issued a statement regarding the International Criminal Court, which is, after all, supported by 125 States Parties.

Reports from the business world suggest that the AI boom is likely to drive an increase in Germany’s economic growth. This is apparently due to the strong demand for products required to fuel the AI boom.

It also comes down to having skilled staff. The unemployment rate in Germany rose by 0.1 % to 6.5 % in August. We therefore need to focus on improving people’s skills.

The sun is currently shining in the Lower Rhine region, with a pleasant 18°C. Make the most of the weather before autumn arrives.
