We are COPLA Burg GmbH and we are looking for you for the dismantling of nuclear power plants to support our team on site in Geesthacht, Brunsbüttel, Moorburg and Hamburg as: Nuclear physicist (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Preparation of waste package documentation for low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste for interim storage or final disposal
  • Preparation of reports and concepts for radiological declaration
  • Quality assurance for waste and disposal containers
  • Technical supervision of conditioning campaigns in the final storage process
  • Creation of flow charts for conditioning
• Applying for licences for the storage of radioactive materials in Germany and abroad
• Planning of hazardous goods transports of radioactive materials in coordination with experts and state representatives / authorities at home and abroad

We expect:

• finalised Degree in nuclear technology, radiation protection, physics, engineering or comparable qualification
• Expertise in final disposal conditions
• Knowledge in the field of container approval, process plans, radiological declaration, documentation or campaign registration in the repository procedure desirable
• Professional experience in the nuclear field
• Expertise in nuclear radiation measurement technology and radiation protection
• Good knowledge of the legal regulations in nuclear, radiation protection and dangerous goods law
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experienced in dealing with customers, suppliers, authorities and experts
• Independent, careful and results-orientated way of working
• Strong communicator Team player
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
