• Maintenance, inspection and servicing activities on machines and systems
• Set up and commission machines and systems and monitor production processes
• Connecting, joining and assembling components
• Set up hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and control systems
• Dismantle, assemble and commission machines
• Carry out maintenance work according to maintenance and inspection schedules
• Retrofitting, modernising and expanding machines, replacing technically obsolete assemblies

• Completed training as an industrial mechanic, plant mechanic, mechatronics engineer or a comparable qualification
• Many years of professional experience as an industrial mechanic or machine fitter in the chemical industry
