Your tasks:

• Storage and retrieval of residual materials and waste in and out of designated storage areas using remote-controlled devices
• Inspection of drums and assessment of their condition in accordance with the applicable operating and process guidelines of the interim storage facility, utilising special handling systems
• Sampling of waste containers using remotely analysed methods
• Seamless documentation of all work and processing steps, including shift logs, fault reports and booking processes
• Support in the maintenance of the systems through maintenance work, inspections, minor repairs and, in particular, care of the remote handling equipment used
• Organisation and provision of workwear and protective clothing for controlled areas, including administration, issue and return of PPE such as respirators
• Carrying out decontamination work and conventional cleaning of rooms, equipment, plant components, drums and shielding containers

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training as an electrician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Qualification as a decontamination cleaner/worker or radiation protection specialist desirable
• Proven previous experience with manual and heavy-duty manipulators desirable
• Very good and confident knowledge of written and spoken German
• Willingness and ability to work shifts
• Valid authorisation or certificate of competence for cranes and slinging activities desirable
• Valid authorisation or certificate of competence to drive industrial trucks desirable
• Valid authorisation or certificate of competence to operate aerial work platforms desirable
