Systemic inclusion in schools

We support children with special educational needs in their everyday school life. Our aim is to organise participation holistically, to think about support needs systemically and to create reliable structures for children, families and schools. Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Regionalverband Rhein-Erft/Düren e.V. offers integration support at several locations and is currently implementing classroom assistance models at special and mainstream schools.

We are now looking for a committed individual with leadership skills, structure and heart to further develop and manage our Inclusion department.

You will be responsible for locations in several towns and municipalities in the association area (e.g. Brühl, Euskirchen and Düren) and can choose the nearest location as your main place of work. You will visit the other locations regularly with a company car provided.

We work with a positive view of people, promote individual strengths and attach great importance to constructive and trusting cooperation.

• You are responsible for the conceptual and organisational development of inclusive support services
• You are responsible for operational management at our schools with a classroom assistance model
• You are responsible for the selection, guidance and professional supervision of employees
• They organise service structures and ensure reliable staff deployment
• They work closely with school management, teachers, OGS structures, parents and other network partners
• You advise employees in challenging situations
• You support the further training of employees
• As part of the team, you will share responsibility for the quality of the work and the conceptual development of the programme

• Completed Master's degree or diploma in social work, special education or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the inclusive field of work
• Experience in personnel responsibility and employee management an advantage
• Knowledge of school, OGS and youth welfare structures
• Confident handling of different support needs and inclusive support settings
• Organisational and management skills
• Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and work in a structured manner
• Appreciative, reflective and resource-orientated attitude
• Extended certificate of good conduct (prerequisite for employment)
• Class B driving licence
• Regular deployment at several locations in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis, Düren, Euskirchen area
