The week is

Thanks to the public holiday on Thursday, when many people take the bridge day off, the working week is already history again on Wednesday.

Trump, as we already know him, may not say it by name, but he is acting according to the old concept that was already attributed to Konrad Adenauer: "What do I care about my gossip from yesterday". A moment ago Putin was a nice guy and today he is taking a much more critical view and is considering further sanctions, but not much will happen and Putin can continue to bomb Ukraine.

And then there is the news about one of the largest employers in Germany, the VW Group with its almost 140,000 employees worldwide. It is the so-called diesel affair, in which several responsible parties have now been convicted in court and some have even been sentenced to prison. The proceedings against the then CEO Winterkorn are being conducted separately, but he is said to have denied responsibility.

Of course, we are excited to see what else is going on and wish you a pleasant start to the short working week.
