Who is

Now the world destroyer, at least the order that has been felt for around 80 years is over. Donald Trump is blatantly threatening his NATO partners with the takeover of Greenland from Denmark, by force if necessary, without caring about the opinions of the inhabitants. There were setbacks on the stock markets at the start of the week, except of course for defence stocks. For Donald Trump, this is presumably a way of distracting attention from his poor poll ratings and perhaps also so that his hush money payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels does not go down in history as his greatest deed. Or perhaps his links to sex offender Epstein, who is said to have taken his own life in prison. Now he could go down in history as the one who dismantled the military alliance that had existed for over eighty years with his claim to Greenland.

A serious train accident occurred in Spain at the weekend, resulting in at least 39 deaths and 73 injuries. Two high-speed trains carrying a total of over 400 passengers collided on a newly renovated section of track between Madrid and Malaga.

Spain is the country in Europe with the largest high-speed railway network.

We wish all those affected all the best and a good start to the new working week, currently with sunshine and around 2 °C on the Lower Rhine.
