While the world is at war with much suffering, injuries and deaths, summer has arrived here. It's a strange feeling when you watch the news but at the same time think about your next holiday. Perhaps there needs to be more women at the top of governments, because if you look at the list of warmongers the world has seen so far, it's always the men who stand out.

The current meeting of the G7 states in Canada may be a sign of the desire for peace. There are many conflicts on the table, but where can the states actually help to end them? And then it is already leaking out that, as usual, there will be no joint final declaration at the instigation of Donald Trump.

And then there's the USA, where the Club World Cup is currently taking place. Not exactly surprising, but there simply aren't that many fans interested in football there and fans outside the USA either shy away from the long journey or Trump and his ruthless politics and only travel there occasionally. From the point of view of the participating Bavarians, who also have some young talents on board, it has been a success so far. For example, 17-year-old talent Lennart Karl shone in the match against Auckland City, which ended 10:0 in Bayern's favour.

Despite all the crises in the world, we wish you a pleasant start to the new working week.
