the precious metal. Prices for gold and silver have fallen sharply, at least on the stock exchanges. But don't worry too much about it. Stay calm and don't panic. It will go up again. Gold is said to have fallen by around 13 % and silver by as much as 36 %.

The Democrats in the USA, on the other hand, made gains, albeit only small ones. Democrat Rehmet was able to win a seat for the Democrats in the Texas Senate in by-elections. After all, Trump had clearly won Texas in the presidential election.

In handball, we were only able to see Germany lose the final of the men's European Championship yesterday, but it was an exciting match with lots of goals and plenty of physical action. Overall, the 2026 European Championships in Denmark / Sweden / Norway seemed much more likeable than the 2026 World Cup in North America. Or is that just down to Infantino's embarrassing appearances with Donald Trump?.
