Friday morning again

The weekend is in sight and the weather seems to be playing along at the moment, at least the sun is shining on the Lower Rhine.

Donald Trump does it like other despots, he simply rewrites history by decree. His vice president Vance is to ensure that the history of the USA is presented in public museums in line with Trump's ideas. It is not yet clear whether he will also be able to clear up the bungling of the signalling affair. After all, a US federal court has ruled that the chat should be archived. Let's see if Trump issues a decree against it.

We have learnt from the German economy that, in addition to the fear of US tariffs on car imports, consumer sentiment is expected to brighten towards Easter, so let's see whether this mood will be carried into the shops.

And then comes the negative news for all small investors, the SPD wants to tighten the tax screw, a typical tax variant, first you make it palatable to the citizens that they invest their money in shares in order to provide for their retirement and close their own pension gap and then you take the money away from them again through higher taxes.
