And again

At the weekend, on Monday morning you think "oh no, a whole week of work, five days in a row and no public holiday" and then the week is over again. If it feels quick, then the week was varied and fun and that's the main thing.

What else is happening in the world has nothing to do with fun, Putin's Russia continues to bomb Ukraine without regard for civilians, adults and children are regularly among the victims. The news that tank production in Russia is probably at its limit and cannot keep up with new vehicles, meaning that stocks are expected to dwindle. There are certainly still enough drones, missiles and aircraft to terrorise the civilian population of Ukraine. And Israel and Iran - the so-called 12-day war has officially ended, but there have also been civilian casualties in both countries. In the Gaza Strip, the fighting continues with no sign of when it will end and how much suffering it is causing among the civilian population. According to the UN, 410 people have already died at aid distribution points alone.

But there are also positive things to report. The minimum wage in Germany is set to rise in two stages to €14.60 by 1 January 2027.
