Putin has once again changed Mr Trump's mind. It was a phone call between Trump and Putin last night that tipped the scales in favour of Donald questioning his previous announcement about the delivery of missiles to Ukraine. Putin probably pointed out to Trump that there was something to publish that Trump didn't like, or Putin simply offered Trump money, because he can be bought anyway. And so Putin can continue bombing populated cities and killing civilians.  

Fittingly, the media have reported that China is building a new aircraft carrier. It would be the fourth to be commissioned by the Chinese and is set to be at least as large as the world's largest aircraft carrier to date, the USS Gerald R. Ford of the USA. China is thus making it clear that they need not be afraid militarily and can therefore continue to put pressure on the USA and of course Taiwan, which according to the Chinese interpretation belongs to China anyway. 

It has been learnt from Berlin that the successful German music producer Jack White has died there at the age of 85. According to media reports, the police have initiated a death investigation as they are currently assuming a suicide.
