Is there now a Democrat in the US who can scare the Republicans? At least it is a glimmer of hope when new, fresh faces emerge and give the impression of being interested in the people and their concerns, like the Democratic candidate for Zohran Mamdani, who is running for the next mayoral election in New York. He is said to have approached people in New York in a shirt-sleeved manner and asked about their concerns.

Perhaps this is a glimmer of hope for American politics.
