It's the middle of the second week of the summer holidays. Many holidaymakers are already starting to think about the end of their holidays and those who still have their holiday ahead of them are looking forward to it. Here in Germany, the weather is rather summery and mixed.

For the Italians, yesterday's European Women's Football Championship semi-final against England ended with a defeat in extra time. At the end of extra time, the score was 2:1 in favour of England and they are now eager to see who will prevail in today's final between Spain and Germany.

There's also the latest news in men's football, even if it's not the European Championship, the Schalke 04 footballers have already won a title before the season has even started. Unfortunately, it's not about football, but only about the diet of the fans. The stadium was named the most vegan-friendly in the top two leagues in Germany.

So things must be looking up again for the Schalke footballers.
