Your tasks:

• Monitoring and control of radiation protection-relevant systems, work areas and persons
• Carrying out measurements and taking samples as part of statutory approval and control procedures in accordance with the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV)
• Inspection and approval of materials and work equipment before leaving radiation protection areas in accordance with § 58 StrlSchV
• Provision and organisation of personal protective equipment on construction sites within controlled zones
• Ensuring compliance with the company's internal regulations and work instructions

Your profile:

• Completed qualification as a radiation protection technician (m/f/d) (VBG) mandatory
• Completed technical vocational training, e.g. as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metal worker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification desirable
• At least 2 years of professional experience in operational radiation protection
• Proven knowledge in handling open radioactive substances, ideally with alpha emitters
• Confident written and spoken German language skills
• Basic user knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Valid S3 knowledge in accordance with the BMU guideline is desirable
• Valid background check according to § 12b AtG desirable
