-pay grade S 11b TVöD-

to be filled on a full-time basis for a limited period until 31 December 2027 with the option of extension. The position is generally suitable for part-time work. We would be happy to discuss practicable working time models with you.

The Department of Family, Education and Sport is the central point of contact for the city of Hildesheim for early childhood education, school and extracurricular education and sports promotion. The department's services are divided into three areas: day care, school and sport and youth.

The Youth Department is responsible for child and youth work and youth social work in the city of Hildesheim. The Youth Department is responsible for open child and youth work, the Hildesheim holiday programme, youth protection, youth counselling, the school refusal project Anstoß, youth social work for schools, the Hildesheim Prevention Council and the promotion of youth work in associations. The youth division includes five children's and youth centres and the active playground.

The project „Socio-spatial youth migration work - participation for refugee children and young people in Hildesheim“ is a project funded by the state integration fund and aims to break down migration-specific access barriers for children and young people with a history of flight or migration, thus facilitating access to youth work, informal education and leisure activities in Hildesheim and strengthening their social participation in the long term. The project aims to strengthen integration and equal opportunities. It acts as a bridge between refugee families and the wide range of services available in the social area. The project thus promotes the psychosocial health of young people and opens up prospects for a young generation that will shape the urban society of tomorrow.

These tasks await you with us:

• Project planning and action planning
• Survey and analysis of previous offers and their use
• Personalised advice and support
• Cooperation with other institutions, authorities and social services
• Conception, implementation and evaluation of group programmes and workshops for children and young people
• Planning and implementation of confidence-building measures for parents
• General administrative related activities
• Cooperation and networking with relevant stakeholders

Your professional profile:

• Completed university/university of applied sciences degree in social pedagogy/social work with state recognition or comparable professions with equivalent skills and experience within the meaning of the TVöD. If the experience is not equivalent, employment according to EG S 8b TVöD is possible as an employee in the position of a social pedagogue (m/f/d).

What you need to bring personally:

• Experience in working with children and youth work, in cooperation with relevant organisations and in intercultural work is desirable
• Knowledge and experience in project management, in the planning and implementation of workshops and educational programmes
• Independent, self-reliant work as well as the ability to work in a team, commitment and willingness to innovate
• Willingness to communicate and the ability to contribute to network structures
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Reliability, flexibility and empathy
