The TEAG subsidiaries also operate a nationwide electricity and gas network in Thuringia as well as a fibre optic network for high-performance broadband communication.

We are looking for a full-time, permanent position in our Central Tasks Generation department at the Erfurt site for a

• You plan and optimise the economic operation of our generation plants.
• You will develop and implement energy marketing strategies and actively shape the marketing of our energy products.
• You use AI-supported trading systems and other trading tools to optimise our „virtual power plant“.
• You analyse energy industry data, derive optimisation measures and implement them.
• You support investment and maintenance projects in plant operation.
• You will be part of the on-call team and will be involved in dealing with malfunctions in plant operation.

• You have a Master's or Diploma degree in industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable subject.
• Ideally, you have experience in the energy industry and a technical understanding of generation plants.
• Knowledge of virtual power plants is a plus.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office applications and work independently and in a structured manner.
• With your communicative competence, your objective and friendly demeanour, you are a real team player.
• You also have a class B driving licence.
