Whilst oil prices seem to be racing from one record high to the next, there is still no end in sight to the chaotic situation in Iran. OK, Trump claims otherwise, but he\u2019s done that plenty of times before. It\u2019s similar to the political success of the AfD here at home. You can claim all sorts of things, lie through your teeth \u2013 you just have to repeat it often enough, and then the voters will believe it. And when the AfD has ultimately created a one-party republic, none of today\u2019s loud-mouthed AfD voters will want to admit they knew anything about it. And the AfD certainly has excellent contacts with Russia\u2019s warmongering dictator Putin, as reports from AfD politicians in Russia show. It\u2019s a shame that, in the East, nobody seems to remember what it was like before 1989, when Russian tanks in the villages and towns made the few roads that were still halfway passable even more of a mess than they already were. And if anyone voiced their opinion too loudly or spoke of freedom, they would often end up in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
